William J. Kohler

William J. Kohler is an attorney in private practice.  He is a member of the Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee of the American Bar Association, a founding member of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, a member of the International Shipmasters Association, an officer of the Ohio Naval Defense Force, and Secretary of the Council of Great Lakes Industries.  He holds the U.S. Coast Guard’s license as a master of steam, motor and auxilary sail vessels on the Great Lakes and Inland Waters.  He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.
